What speed do I need for a typing test?
It depends on the exam: many Hindi typing tests ask for 25 to 30 words per minute, with a limit on mistakes. Check your notification, and log your accuracy as well as your speed.
How often should I test myself?
Once a day is plenty. Practise lessons for most of your session and finish with one timed test, then write the result here.
Why keep a log
Progress in typing is slow enough that you cannot feel it day to day. A written record makes the plateau visible - and shows whether you are pushing speed before accuracy. Candidates for SSC, CPCT and court typing tests should log every timed test.
